Admissions

We follow the admissions criteria of the Eastern Multi-Academy Trust. A copy of the Trust’s admissions policy can be found on our policies page.

We are always happy to show prospective parents round the academy so that parents can get a feel of what our academy is like – please call us to book an appointment.

Suffolk County Council Western Area manages all admissions on our behalf and can be contacted at:

Children coming into reception year are admitted to school in September of the school year when they have their 5th birthday (i.e. between 1st September and 31st August).

During the summer term we hold open evenings for the September intake into Early Years, and there are also various opportunities for parents and new children to come into school to help with the settling in process.

Admission Appeals

If parents wish to appeal against a decision relating to admissions for West Row Academy, this must be done in writing and a form can be obtained from the Academy Office. The academy follows the appeals process of Suffolk County Council. Further information on this process can be found on the Suffolk County Council Schools Admissions website.
